Magnetic resonance imaging is a modern, safe diagnostic method that works on the basis of radio waves and a magnetic field that interacts with hydrogen atoms in the human body. Magnetic resonance diagnostics is a safe method because it works without X-rays. Radio waves stimulate protons, which give off energy in the form of a signal that allows you to take pictures of body parts in different dimensions. Diagnostics of this type easily detects cancerous tumors (soft tissue and bone cancer). The price of MRI is somewhat higher than the price of CT (computed tomography), but this method better identifies problem areas of the body.
The examination carried out in our diagnostic center is absolutely painless. The only inconvenience for the patient may be excessive noise and some time in a motionless state, which affects the quality of the images.
