Наnna Gula

In 2002 she graduated with honors from Danylo Halytsky Lviv State Medical University with a degree in General Medicine. During her studies, she worked as a nurse in the Department of pathology of premature newborns of the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital.

2002-2004 - studied for a master's degree at the Department of Faculty Surgery of the Bogomolets National Medical University and completed an internship in the specialty "Surgery" at the Kyiv Center for the Treatment of Gastrointestinal Bleeding and the Surgical Department of the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital №12.

2004-2007 - worked at the Department of Faculty Surgery of Bogomolets NMU and was a candidate of medical sciences, surgeon and endoscopist at the Kyiv Center for Gastrointestinal Bleeding, Plasma-Med+ clinic, surgeon at the medical unit of the Kyiv plant "Radar", endoscopist at the clinic "Borys".

2007-2011 - worked as an endoscopist at the Lviv Emergency Hospital, Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care (air ambulance) and Zhovkva Central District Hospital.

Since April 2011, she has been working as an endoscopist at the St. Paraskeva Medical Center.

In 2014, she completed and defended her dissertation on "Features of complex surgical treatment of acute bleeding gastroduodenal ulcers in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus" under the guidance of academician P.D. Fomin; received the degree of candidate of Medical Sciences in the specialty "14.01.03 Surgery".

The highest qualification category in the specialization "Endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery".

Certificate of a specialist in surgery. He has extensive experience in emergency and elective surgical interventions in general and abdominal surgery.

Specialization in "Organization and management of health care".

Full member of the Association of endoscopists of Ukraine.

Perfectly knows the methods of endoscopic examinations and manipulations:

• bronchoscopy;
• esophagogastroduodenoscopy;
• colonoscopy;
• endoscopic pH-metry;
• forceps and brush biopsy;

Performs therapeutic endoscopic operations:

• endoscopic polypectomy in the upper and lower parts of the digestive tract (esophagus, stomach, duodenum, colon and rectum);
• endoscopic bleeding control (injection hemostasis, mono- and bipolar electrocoagulation, argon plasma coagulation, clipping, endoligatures);
• placement of enteral feeding tubes;
• sanation bronchoscopy, lavage of the tracheobronchial tree;
• endoscopic removal of foreign bodies of the digestive canal;
• endoscopic balloon dilation of constrictions and strictures of the digestive canal;
• endoscopic resection of pathologically altered mucosa of the upper and lower parts of the digestive tract (EMR);
• endoscopic argon plasma and electroablation of pathological changes of the mucous membrane and vascular anomalies;
• endoscopic submucosal dissection of tumors of the upper and lower parts of the digestive tract (ESD).
