Iryna Chubuchna

Graduated with honors from Lviv Medical Institute.

Working as a physiotherapist (first qualification category) at the Lviv Regional Cardiology Center, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences in Cardiology in 1999 (M. Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology, Kyiv). Since 2000 she has been working at the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University at the Department of Internal Medicine № 2 as an Associate Professor. Field of interest: cardiology, rehabilitation, comorbid conditions (combined somatic pathology), gerontology, geriatrics, thanatopedagogy. Author of 59 publications.

She took advanced training courses at the All-Union Scientific Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy (Moscow, 1991), reflexology at the Faculty of Advanced Training of Doctors and Pharmacists of the Lviv Medical Institute (1991); advanced training (3 months) at the Cardiology Clinic of the Medical Center of Postgraduate Education in Warsaw (1998), there she was trained in EchoCG and Holter monitoring; thematic improvement of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education "New Technologies in Medical Rehabilitation" on the basis of the clinic of Professor V. I. Kozyavkin's clinic (2007); studied at the Ukrainian Catholic University at the Faculty of Philosophy and Theology of Bioethics (certificate program, 2009).

She is a member of the Medical Society in Lviv, chairman of the Yurii Lypa club. She was awarded the medal "For work and victory in medicine" (2011), many diplomas and gratitude from Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University, regional committee of trade unions and public organizations.
