Rheoencephalography (REG) is a non-invasive method of studying cerebral circulation, which allows to obtain objective information about:
- brain vessel tone;
- evaluate peripheral vascular resistance;
- pulse blood filling at the level of the main vessels (distribution arteries);
- determine the condition of small arteries (arteries of resistance);
- venous outflow.
